I was charged multiple times for my bills payment. What do I do?
Double charges can happen due to a slow internet connection or high volume of users trying to pay bills. If you're unsure whether your first transaction was successful, do not attempt additional payments yet.
Instead, monitor your GCash account for 3 business days for the following:
If payments failed:
- Check your wallet balance for a possible refund due to auto-reversal
- Some billers may recognize double payments and automatically return duplicates
If no refund is received:
- Verify with your biller whether the duplicate payment/s was posted on their end
If you confirm multiple charges:
- Ask your biller if they can apply any excess payment to your next bill
- To request a manual refund, click here to ask for help. A customer service representative will contact you in 24 hours.
Note:
Refund processing may take more than one billing cycle.
